Obama. What a night. What a speech.
I know real change will be hard to come by, but tonight I choose to be inspired. Tonight I choose to hope. The man has greatness.

I agree wholeheartedly, LOVE this man! I am fearful for what they will put him through these next few months, it is going to get VERY ugly.
Welcome back to blogging, so good to see you have returned...hope this finds you well and smiling.

Your words are inspirational as well, Jonathan. A testimonial that hope is contagious and every person can make a difference for the better.

I'm Living in London, England and I'm a big fan of his. Enough of the same old politicking - the world (not just the USA) needs change! It is a pity he will, victory permitting, inherit such enormous problems from the Bush legacy that it is going to be very, very hard for him.
Jonathan, I take your road to recovery as a good sign all round! :-)

When in Nepal recently I met people from all over the world. They were all talking about Obama. They have high hopes that he will be president and they have great respect for him. I found that refreshing. For once I'd like to talk to people from other countries and not have to listen to them generally malign our president with unfortunately all too good cause.
Go Obama. I'd even be willing to accept Hillary on the ticket.
