Meanwhile, I'm getting ready for my third round of chemo (of six) on Wednesday. The first day or two after a treatment is pretty unpleasant, but, those few days aside, I've generally been feeling great. Some of the effects are cumulative, so I may feel worse in the later rounds, but so far, so good. One third of the way done.

Thinking of you! Hello from Kathmandu. Feel well! And I hope to see you one day soon. Really, we really are coming home. One day. Maybe.

Why?? I'm curious as to why you are getting chemo?? I mean we're all going to die once peak oil comes along, right?? So why even bother, really?? You should be happy to die! And not live to see the horrors of post peak.

To Del: Your comment really upset me. Shame on you. I hope you are not serious. How dare you minimize the wonders of life and Jon's fight to live? Although the world situation is grave and Jon is willing to keep us informed...this is no reason to want to die. There is so much more to him than this blog. Jon is an amazing man and lives his life to the fullest every day with love and gratitude. He never stops asking questions and is constantly learning new things. You should see his library! He has an overwhelming amount of compassion, unconditional love, honesty, empathy, sensitivity, humor, and intelligence. He is kind, generous, and has a life rich with people who love him. Jon is meant to be here, will beat this cancer, and continue to live in love and abundance.
