This being Sunday and all.

When I was a child, I used to pray to God for a bicycle. But then I realized that God doesn't work in that way — so I stole a bike and prayed for forgiveness. — Emo Phillips

Emo used to live in Downers Grove, Illinois, not far from our home there. When our kids were young teens, they would see him pass by on a walk and run out to talk with him. He was always happy to talk with them and give his autograph, usually with a written message like, "Thanks for curing my dog of frigidity." They loved it!
