| Oil Price Sets Another Record | Peak Oil |
As I write this, oil has soared to $76.30 a barrel — a price we will someday soon look back on with nostalgia.
Update [2:23 PM CDT] - Make that $76.65.
Update [4:55 PM] - $77.40.
Update [5:06 PM] - $77.50.
Update [5:13 PM] - $77.90. Yikes.
Update [5:29 PM] - $78.12.

Now at 76.45!
Of course, this is just a nominal record. Prices need to approach 1980-81 inflation adjusted prices of around $95 before the shit hits the fan.
It is only a matter of time...
